Pull-the-DOT® Fastener Press Studs have three sides that lock into place and can only be opened by lifting the press stud where the embossed trademark is.

DOT® Carpet fasteners
AN unnoticeable fastener
Carpet fasteners are an unobtrusive and removable method of attaching carpets to a surface. To make the carpet fastener, combine the Ring and the Clinch Plate to form a Socket. This can then be connected to any Press Stud.
An example of where this fastener can be used is to secure car mats to carpets. The Ring and Clinch Plate are attached to the mat, while the Stud is attached to the carpet. The fastening is not generally visible because the Ring is unobtrusive and sinks into the pile.
