HAND TOOL BED & PUNCH - SNAP FASTENERS
The tool holder is secured to the bench, and the bottom tool (for button or eyelet) is inserted. The parts are then hand-assembled, and the stem of the button or eyelet is rolled over with a punch and a hammer to secure the parts together. Pre-punching of the workpiece or fabric is required.

On this portable press, a top and bottom anvil hold the attachment tools in place. The top tool will hold the matching component, such as a socket or stud, while the lower tool will retain the button or eyelet. Squeezing the handle will allow the components to be bonded together. The button or eyelet will instantly puncture a hole in the fabric. The M840's portability and hand-held design make it perfect for repairs and working in small spaces.

nEEDING SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE?
Use the Manual Foot Press to affix DOT® Fasteners to double your output. There are top and bottom anvils on this manual foot press for inserting press studs. The matching component, such as a socket or stud, is held by the top tool, while the bottom tool will hold the button or eyelet. Both hands can be used to position the parts because the fastening is operated by foot. Two parts trays are placed next to the operator's seat to facilitate two-handed loading. On the swing arm, a ratchet system makes sure the fixing is constant. The fabric will automatically be pierced by the instrument. An automatic machine is available upon request.
